If recording assembly machine setting is the most frequent task that I performed in HBD, then coming in second is surely grease-changing operation. After 2 months of countless attempts and constant observations, I daresay I can complete it without a snag. The following procedures cover the entire process in 9 simple steps. One, identify cause of alarm at assembly machine is grease finished. Two, note down corresponding grease lot number and head towards the grease degassing area to lift out a new one back. Three, swap the old can for the new can and secure it in place. Four, there are a total of 3 purging processes. Five, purge grease from grease pump via tap. Six, disconnect grease supply line from dispenser and start purging. Seven, reconnect grease supply line and purge via dispenser. Eight, record grease lot number onto production sheet and sent some for inspection. Nine, given green light by middle inspection will resume operation.
